The Edward Ressle Gallery is relocating to a new space on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Edward Ressle is a project based gallery located on the Upper East Side in a historic prewar townhouse. Within New York's 'museum mile', the gallery is just across the street from The Met Breuer and in walking distance from The Frick Collection, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The 4,000 square foot exhibition space allows for the gallery to present ambitious exhibitions of contemporary European and American artists whilst creating a dialogue between the generations.
Working in collaboration with established artists, artist estates, galleries and institutions, Edward Ressle takes a curatorial approach aiming to showcase museum-quality and historically researched exhibitions and cast light upon art that deserves further attention.
